Alison Childs is a video artist and graphic designer living in New York City.

After studying Graphic Design at RISD, Alison built a career in design and advertising during tenures at Gyro Worldwide, Razorfish, and her own design firm, AC/AC. In 2002 she began experimenting with video and light projection during music events. This environment provided the perfect arena for the exploration of movement and color design within live video.

Her live installations have accompanied internationally renown live acts and DJs such as Juan Atkins, Glass Candy, Special Disco Version, The Juan MacLean, Morgan Geist, Dam Funk, Cosmo Vitelli, Surkin, Cluster, Daniel Wang, Trans Am, Tussle, and Zombi. Her music videos for independent bands, single-channel video works and installations have been included in international film and video festivals worldwide.

Alison is also producing an independent zombie horror film, Bad Date, co-written and directed with Sadie Shaw. In 2005, she co-founded Donuts! in San Francisco, and maintained the role of resident video artist. Alison has most recently launched a New York-based events series and production company called Galaxie.
