Alison Childs is a video artist and graphic designer living in Los Angeles.

After studying Graphic Design at RISD, Alison maintained tenures at Gyro Worldwide, Razorfish, her own firm, AC/AC, and various tech and advertising conglomerates. In 2002 she began experimenting with video and light projection during music events. This environment provided the perfect arena for the exploration of movement and color design within live video.

Her live installations have accompanied internationally renown live acts and DJs such as Juan Atkins, Glass Candy, The Juan MacLean, Dam Funk, Cluster, Trans Am, Tussle, and Zombi. Her music videos for independent bands and single-channel video works have been included in international film and video festivals worldwide.

In 2005, she co-founded, booked, and produced Donuts!, a live act and DJ event series in San Francisco. Four years later in New York, Alison revived the Galaxie event series with Justin Miller, Jacques Renault, and Lovefingers. For both series, each event featured a site-specific variation of her video installation. In 2011, Alison moved to Berlin, spending a year as designer for SoundCloud and continuing video installations for events around town, before relocating to sunny Los Angeles. Alison is currently producing an independent zombie horror film, Bad Date.
